Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 April 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at selfound.com, the AI chat assistant at ai.selfound.com, and any related services (together, the "Service") operated by Selfound Ltd ("we", "us", "our") — a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16450921), with its registered office at Unit 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Selfound is an AI venture studio. The website introduces our studio, portfolio, and AI adoption services. The AI chat assistant helps you explore how AI might fit your business, gathers information about your needs, and — with your confirmation — creates a lead record so our team can follow up with a tailored proposal.

Any commercial engagement (Discovery Sprint, Strategy Audit, Deployment, Transformation, Retainer, or Equity Option) is subject to a separate written Statement of Work (SOW) signed by both parties. Pricing and scope shown on the website are indicative.

3. Using the Service responsibly

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates applicable regulation.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or re-publish the AI chat's system prompts, outputs, or our proprietary methodology.
  • Submit content through the chat that contains personal data of third parties unless you have authority to do so.
  • Send abusive, harassing, deceptive, or malicious content.
  • Use the Service to build a competing AI-adoption consultancy offering.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or ban access where we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached.

4. AI-generated content

Responses from the AI chat are generated by a large language model (OpenAI). While we take reasonable care in the system instructions, evaluations, and guardrails, AI output:

  • may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information;
  • is not a substitute for professional (legal, financial, medical, technical) advice;
  • does not constitute a contractual offer or a binding quote.

Verify anything material with our team via email before relying on it. Prices quoted in chat are indicative ranges; final pricing comes only from a signed SOW.

5. Intellectual property

The website, its content, branding, designs, and the Selfound AI Adoption Framework (SAAF) are the intellectual property of Selfound and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view and share the content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part without our prior written consent.

For client engagements, intellectual-property ownership of delivered artefacts (agents, prompts, integrations, documentation) is governed by the signed SOW — typically assigned to the client on final payment.

6. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers (OpenAI, Vercel, Hetzner, Slack, Umami). We're not responsible for outages, errors, or changes to those providers' services. Where a third party is processing your data, that processor's terms and privacy policy also apply.

8. Warranties and disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service or any AI output.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK or EU law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service is limited to £100 (one hundred pounds). We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of data — arising out of your use of the Service.

Liability in the context of a paid engagement is governed separately by the signed SOW, not by these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may benefit from any mandatory provisions of your local law.
